Job Overview

As a customer service professional, you will support insurance customers with their home and motor needs.

You will efficiently handle inbound calls, providing exceptional service and servicing customers' needs. This includes making policy changes, promoting digital channels, and resolving customer complaints.

You may also be required to support vulnerable customers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service through active listening and relationship-building skills.
  • Efficiently manage high call volumes while ensuring a consistently positive and engaging customer experience.
  • Educate customers on our full range of products and services offered, and continue the growth of our new sales and retention business through effective conversation.
  • Engage with customers across diverse communication channels, predominantly inbound calls but occasionally outbound calls.
  • Apply judgment to appropriately address and resolve customer queries.
  • Listen to customers' personal circumstances to understand requirements and provide personalized solutions.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions within our systems.
Requirements
  • A passion for delivering an excellent customer experience and finding the best outcome for customers.
  • Previous experience in customer service within a call centre is preferred, but transferable skills from retail, hospitality, or leisure are valued.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, listening, and empathy, with resilience for complex challenges.
  • Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office, and ability to multitask across multiple systems.
