Field Forklift Mechanic/Service Technician


About The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and mechanically-minded individual to join our team as a Field Forklift Mechanic/Service Technician.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and repairing material handling equipment in a dedicated territory and customer base, assisting in building positive customer experiences.
  • Using latest field-based mobile technology to manage daily work schedules.
  • Inventory input on company-allocated service vans and customer sites, with a focus on delivering a professional level of service.
  • Gaining experience dealing with Australia's top-tiered customer base and learning new skills that have potential to earn competitive hourly rates with incentives and excellent potential for overtime.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance and complete service work, reactive and planned. They will also accurately maintain important service records of work performed.

Typical Crown Technician tasks and duties include conducting customer-focused scheduled and 'breakdown' services, assisting in the preparation of field-based quotes for customers, recording notes and filing service records appropriately, and accessing industry-leading training and development and grade progression opportunities.
