Electrical Technician

We are seeking skilled electrical technicians to join our team at Curtis Island in Gladstone QLD.

The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering electrical maintenance and support services under a contract, executing planned and unplanned breakdown maintenance, and maintaining and replacing electrical equipment.

  • Maintenance of electrical infrastructure including distribution networks and switchgear rooms
  • Delivery of electrical maintenance services under the contract
  • Execution of planned and unplanned breakdown maintenance activities
  • Maintenance and replacement of electrical equipment
  • Provide technical advice and support on electrical and instrumentation to the field project and maintenance teams
  • Troubleshooting, calibrating, repair and service of fixed plant instrumentation and electrical assets
  • Identify risks and maintain awareness amongst employees and process conditions in a Major Hazardous Facility
  • Develop and drive continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions
  • Working at heights activities

About You
  • Previous experience from an Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or continuous processing plant
  • Exposure to working in tanks, confined spaces and piping
  • Electrical License (QLD), Cert III in Instrumentation, Current CPR / LVR, EEHA Certification, HV Switching Certification, Swagelok Certification, High Risk Work License – EWP, and Work at Heights Certification
