The role of a delivery coordinator involves managing and coordinating deliveries to trade customers, building strong relationships through sales and service standards, and providing customer-facing support.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our business. As a delivery coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinate and manage deliveries efficiently and effectively
- Build strong relationships with customers through high standards of sales and service
- Ensure a safe work environment by displaying safe work and driving behaviors
- Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve any issues promptly
- Actively promote products and marketing activities when delivering products
- Assist the team with other tasks such as processing orders, dispatching products, and processing credits
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Customer service mindset and ability to build strong customer relationships
- Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable demeanor
- Comfort working independently and prioritizing multiple tasks
- Physical capacity to perform the duties of the role, including handling products of a heavy nature
- Hold a current/valid driver's license (manual preferred)
- Previous customer service experience within a trade/mechanical environment (desirable)
