Senior Application Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Melbourne. This is an on-site role working from our office.

The successful candidate will report into a Practice Manager and be responsible for application development, enhancement, and support of technical components in 3rd party applications.

  • Develop, enhance, and support technical components in 3rd party applications.
  • Respond to alerts raised by application monitoring, investigate, and resolve issues.
  • Follow best practice for incident management.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues before they affect deliverables.
  • Analyse data-related issues to determine the best course of action to resolve application integrity issues.
  • Provide technical assistance to business teams relating to general application queries affecting their functional areas.
  • Involvement in project handovers to ensure a smooth transition to production support.

Requirements and Experience

  • Extensive experience with JavaScript, HTML, C# (Model-View-Controller or similar pattern), secure Web API, deployment, and packaging.
  • Proficient in JSON object-oriented programming concepts and Microsoft SQL server: TSQL, stored procedures/views, knowledge in database schema, indexing, performance optimisation.
  • Familiarity with .NET Core 3.1 or later version.
  • Experience with version control, Internet Information Services, Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Current or reinstatable Security clearance, NV2 is preferred.
