Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Support Practitioner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing support to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence or requiring assistance with care and well-being.
This role requires the ability to provide high-quality, safe, and effective support to vulnerable individuals and families. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
About the Role:- Provide advice, risk checks, and shared leadership to support families facing violence.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team as a first point of contact, offering information and assessments to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
- Report daily to a Team Leader from any of the partner organisations within our network.
- Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant professional experience or related qualification relevant to child and family welfare.
- Understanding of the 'Best Interests' framework, CYFA 2005, Family Violence Protection Act 2008, FVISS, CISS, and MARAM frameworks is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability as a practitioner in the child, youth, and family welfare field, including experience in undertaking comprehensive risk and needs assessments and risk management responses.
