Account Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Development Specialist to join our sales team.

This role is based in Gladstone QLD and focuses on the supply and sales of industrial and safety products.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer value and solutions to both new and existing accounts within the Brisbane area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining, developing and growing key relationships with customers
  • Developing opportunities for growth through strategic planning and fact-based analysis
  • Achieving sales targets through product optimisation
  • Maintaining an effective call plan for existing and identified customers
  • Collaborating with the local branch team members
  • Regular market/competitor analysis and reporting on trends and sales activities

The successful candidate will have minimum 3 years' experience in B2B account management and/or business development, preferably in manufacturing, mining, heavy equipment or similar industrial sectors.

The individual will also be able to develop strong relationships with customers, be face-to-face with them, and passionate about delivering effective solutions.

In addition, they will have a proactive approach to meeting but exceeding customer expectations, strong problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work autonomously whilst collaborating across different teams.
