About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to lead a team of nurses in a state-of-the-art cancer centre, providing high-levels of patient care and driving change in a safe and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct a team of nurses to provide evidence-based patient-centred care and service planning
  • Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and skills to provide clinical and professional guidance to the multidisciplinary team
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate strategies to improve patient satisfaction results
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all disciplines and departments
  • Manage physical, human, intellectual, and financial resources effectively
  • Ensure the right level of seniority and skill mix in the team and provide staff with access to appropriate resources and training
  • Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, development, supervision, and performance evaluation of nursing team members
  • Develop workforce and succession plans and demonstrate a commitment to developing all staff
