Job Title: Associate Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Peri-Operative Services Unit as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical leadership and operational direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership to the unit, working closely with the Perioperative Services Manager and Nurse Unit Manager to ensure efficient and effective management of human, financial, and material resources.
  • Coordinate the delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based, ensuring compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
  • Manage a dynamic and changing environment, prioritizing tasks and managing resources to meet the needs of the unit.
  • Collaborate with the Peri-Operative Services Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and unit performance.
Requirements:
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Sound clinical knowledge and experience in the Acute setting, with a focus on ENT & Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Advanced skills and experience in scrub/scout roles
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team
  • Excellent customer service focus, time management, and prioritisation skills
  • High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office and various databases
