Women's Wear Design Position

  • Lead the creation of innovative, functional designs that bring a brand's DNA to life. This role empowers movement and inspires recreation in women's activewear.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development:
        Oversee the design of cohesive collections that align with menswear & accessories.
        Develop original sketches, CADs & detailed tech packs for production guidance.
        Source cutting-edge fabrics, trims & finishes delivering performance & style.
        Ensure every design meets fit, function & comfort standards.
        Push design boundaries with silhouettes, fabrications & branding techniques.
  • Innovation & Insight:
        Stay ahead of global trends in women's activewear, sport & lifestyle.
        Translate trend insights into unique, brand-specific designs staying true to DNA.
        Pioneer sustainable innovation & performance through next-generation fabrics.
        Use athlete & community feedback to refine & evolve designs.
  • Collaboration & Brand Integration:
        Partner closely with Creative Director, production teams & suppliers for concept-to-reality collections.
        Collaborate with marketing to ensure product stories translate into campaigns, shoots & community activations.
        Work with e-commerce & retail teams for strong storytelling & impact in product launches.
  • Execution & Excellence:
        Own the end-to-end design process from ideation to final sample approval.
        Champion uncompromising standards for fit, function & detail in every product.
        Lead fittings & wear-testing for premium performance & brand consistency.
        Deliver precise tech packs & specifications.
        Build strong relationships with factories & mills driving innovation in fabric, sustainability & performance.
  • Other Functions:
        Support the Creative Director as needed.
        Contribute to collaborations, capsules & special projects elevating the brand's profile.
        Maintain the sample library with full ownership.

About You

  • You are an experienced Women's Wear Designer passionate about bold, innovative designs empowering movement & inspiring recreation.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in womenswear design within a leading activewear or swimwear brand.
  • Exceptional Adobe CS skills and strong time management abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail & passion for creativity.
