Interior Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced interior designer to join our boutique design focused interiors practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented designer to build their career in high-end private residential projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist the director in implementing the design vision, ensuring clarity and precision within defined timeframes.
  • Work closely with the in-house design team, external consultants, and contractors on-site.
  • Undertake design projects from concept to completion.
  • Liaise with clients to establish the project brief and define the scope of works.
  • Produce working drawings, plans, schedules, and specifications to assist with tender packages and documentation.
  • Source materials and products for specification and production of sample/mood boards.
  • Research and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practices.
Skill and Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ years full-time professional experience as an interior designer, along with a relevant degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
  • Experience in Design & Decoration and high-end residential projects.
  • Proficiency in Sketchup, Adobe Suite, Vectorworks software.
  • Exceptional design ability and detailing skills.
  • Experience liaising with consultants, contractors, and clients.
  • Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and installations.
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility.
  • Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
