About the Role

  • As a Civil Engineer, you'll be responsible for undertaking design and design lead roles for water, stormwater, or wastewater projects across the entire lifecycle, from detailed planning to concept and detailed design.
  • You'll have the opportunity to work as part of an integrated engineering team with clients to provide civil/water input to planning, investigations, and front-end engineering design for capital programs or works.
  • You'll mentor emerging members of the team to ensure the development of our engineering team more broadly.
  • You'll support Civil, Water, and Environmental engineering projects interstate and overseas, as required.
  • You'll engage and build positive relationships with existing and potential clients and stakeholders, support business development, and tenders to win and deliver work for Aurecon.

Requirements

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Chartered membership of Engineers Australia or eligibility to apply for membership.
  • Experience in water and/or wastewater design, civil design, and documentation.
  • Hydraulic modeling skills, experience with ground and surface water, water-sensitive urban design, and integrated water planning would be considered advantageous.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively throughout all facets of our organization and with external stakeholders.
