About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead our mining infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the design and coordination function across civil work, interfacing with clients, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate civil engineering projects, including industrial area and maintenance facilities, site services materials handling, access roads, and rail and other infrastructure to support mining projects.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
- Lead and motivate a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in mining infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software, including 12D and Civil 3D.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
