Senior Billing Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Billing Technical Specialist to join our team and provide expert-level billing technical assistance to our customers.

This role involves providing timely resolution on complex billing and invoice product issues, working closely with various departments and vendors. You will be responsible for troubleshooting technical problems across software, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure, and contributing to continuous product and process improvement.

About the Role:
  • You will serve as a trusted advisor, solving complex billing and invoice product issues and providing guidance to customers.
  • Responsibilities include responding to inbound service requests over the phone and email, diagnosing and resolving technical problems, and reconciling invoicing to vendor invoices or SAP.
  • Other key responsibilities include reproducing issues, conducting root cause analysis, and working closely with engineering on bug fixes and feature requests.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset. You will work closely with various departments and vendors to provide timely resolution on issues.

Requirements:
  • 4–7+ years of experience in billing technical support is required.
  • Experience processing credits and debits within an invoicing system is essential.
  • Deep experience with relevant technologies such as SAP, SaaS platforms, APIs, databases, cloud services (AWS, Azure) is necessary.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills within billing and invoicing, with the ability to think critically and communicate clearly under pressure.
  • A strong understanding of web technologies, integrations, or system architecture is required.
