
Injury Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a professional to support our team in Adelaide by managing workplace injuries.
- The selected candidate will conduct thorough investigations for serious workplace injuries.
- They will strategically manage workers' compensation claims from lodgement through to closure.
- Collaboration with medical practitioners, insurers, and internal teams is essential for return to work outcomes.
- Ongoing advice and coaching will be provided to line managers and supervisors on claims handling and injury management.
- Accurate and timely records, case notes, and documentation are crucial in Solv.
- Facilitating the reimbursement process with Payroll and Finance in coordination with the insurer is vital.
- Internal training sessions will be delivered on claims, return to work procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Contribution to the development and maintenance of the National Job Dictionary and Injury Management Packs is expected.
- Participation in quarterly insurer file reviews and state-based injury management reviews is necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-2 years' experience in Injury Management or Workers' Compensation (ideally across multiple jurisdictions).
- Strong knowledge of South Australian Workers Compensation legislation, with familiarity across other state and national frameworks desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with employees, managers, medical professionals, and insurers.
- Experience in developing return-to-work plans and driving early intervention strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Solid time management and organisational abilities with a proactive mindset.
- Computer literacy across MS Office Suite and case management systems (e.g., Solv).
- A commitment to continuous learning, inclusion, and safe work practices.
