Job Title: IT Infrastructure Coordinator

Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Coordinator to manage and coordinate hardware activities, including installations, de-installations, moves, changes, and removals of IT equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the installation, relocation, and decommissioning of IT equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Analyse and improve equipment performance, data centre environments, and procedural compliance, adhering to industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, site diagrams, and reports, supporting problem/change identification and resolution.
  • Liaise with support teams and skill groups, ensuring seamless delivery of hardware coordination activities.
  • Provide business and non-business hours support through shared on-call arrangements.
  • Recommend and implement efficiency improvements to processes, procedures, and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in Windows and Linux server administration.
  • Experience with networking hardware and cabling standards.
  • Proven track record managing hardware and infrastructure within data centre environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Critical Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain compliance, procedural accuracy, and operational efficiency.
