Job Title: Operations Leader

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced operations leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site supervision and management of a skilled trades team.

  • Lead the team on productive safe work behaviour.
  • Ensure site productivity aligns with project timelines.
  • Co-ordinate employees and subcontractors.
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

The role involves:

  1. Day-to-day site supervision and management of your team.
  2. Ensuring site productivity aligns with project timelines.
  3. Leading the team on productive safe work behaviour.
  4. Setting up and packing up of site, including contributing to pre-start and toolbox meetings.
  5. Co-ordinating employees and subcontractors.
  6. Communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Liaising closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects run to schedule.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Prior experience in the construction and remediation industry, preferably on structural integrity projects.
  • Prior experience supervising teams of skilled tradesmen.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Positive conflict resolution, communication and influencing skills.
  • Sound understanding of established safety policies and guidelines.
