Operational Readiness Specialist

This is a compelling opportunity for an experienced Operational Readiness Specialist to join our growth project team in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational readiness strategy for metallurgy function.
  • Engage and manage external resources as required.
  • Schedule and track progress of deliverables.
  • Coordinate with the project team to ensure metallurgical design and operational requirements are met.
  • Engage with site stakeholders, promote collaboration with the project.
  • Review existing metallurgical test work, identify gaps, and define programs to close these gaps.
  • Develop or update key metallurgical systems: Metallurgical accounting.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the gold and hydrometallurgical processing industry.
  • Gold processing plant experience including flotation.
  • Ultra fine grinding experience (desirable).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Metallurgical accounting, forecasting, and budget development expertise.
  • Able to think strategically and commercially, approach solutions creatively, and consider organization-wide impacts.
