Operations and Readiness Specialist

Supporting the development of an offshore gas project in Western Australia, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring operational readiness throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of strategies that promote safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of operations readiness activities for the Browse Upstream development.
  • Develop entry strategies for subsea and FPSO scopes, driving efficiency and optimization.
  • Contribute operational input into FEED ITTs to ensure alignment and readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, corporate, and contracting teams to embed operational considerations early.
  • Promote strong governance and ethical conduct, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive project objectives.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in multidisciplinary roles within the oil and gas sector.
  • Proven track record in Maintenance, Operations, and Subsea Engineering.
  • Proficient in digital, data, and IT systems relevant to asset operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence, governance, and compliance.
Operational Readiness Expertise:
  • Familiarity with digitalization and data integration strategies for future operations.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and operations procedures, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Ability to analyze complex operational scenarios and develop effective solutions.
