Technical Officer for Vegetation Program Management

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support the execution and management of vegetation-related activities across our network.

This role plays a critical part in providing technical and operational support to internal teams and external stakeholders, coordinating network access requests, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and prepare Network Access Requests and schedule network outages.
  • Provide advice on network design inquiries including upgrades and SAPS installations.
  • Prepare and execute Notice of Entry procedures and liaise with relevant authorities.
  • Engage with plantation owners and stakeholders to ensure safe access and planning.
  • Support third-party requests including rail applications and NPWS engagements.
  • Assist in resolving escalated customer complaints and complex issues.
  • Conduct audits of vegetation inspections and treatments to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate site activities during planned/unplanned events.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Certificate IV in Business or equivalent experience.
  • Certificate III in Arboriculture.
  • Driver's Licence.
  • General Construction Induction Training (White Card).
  • Maintenance of all required licences and authorisations.
