Job Title: Laboratory Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Laboratory Coordinator to join our team. As a Laboratory Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the NATA ISO/IEC 17025 accredited physical testing laboratory, including testing for NPD, QC, Compliance, R&D, and product complaint investigation.
  • Manage the laboratory system to ensure NATA accreditation is maintained for the Sydney Carpet Laboratory.
  • Act as a NATA signatory.
  • Assess and develop laboratory activities and capabilities, for both NATA and internal processes.
  • Standardize laboratory methodologies, including alignment with global laboratories.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and test standards for test methods of both NATA and internal QC testing (ISO 17025 and ISO 9001).

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering.
  • Previous experience managing the system of an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory integrated with ISO 9001.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Lab report writing.
  • Ability to work within a dynamic environment, respond promptly to internal customers, and be driven by results.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
