Operational Excellence Manager

The operational excellence manager will oversee day-to-day operations and strategic direction of laboratory services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate all processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with quality standards.
  • Manage laboratory resources for optimal performance.
  • Analyze and drive operational outcomes, presenting clear reports on departmental efficiency.
  • Take decisive action when standards are not met—coaching team leaders through corrective steps and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Lead workforce planning initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, succession, and development to build a resilient team.

Key Qualifications:

  • A proven track record in driving operational improvements and leading growth initiatives.
  • Experience working in a medical laboratory environment is preferred.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
  • Skill at conveying complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
