Key Position Summary:

The APS5 Internal Review Officer is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex work. Key legislation, policies, procedures, standards and methodologies guide the position.

**Job Responsibilities:**

  • Gathering information regarding review requests from participants, informing them about decisions, reviews and appeals processes.
  • Making evidence-based decisions as prescribed by policies.
  • Managing caseloads to ensure timely completion of internal reviews.
  • Contributing to quality improvement activities enhancing service delivery practice and systems.

**Ideal Candidate Requirements:**

  • Experience in internal reviews with proven decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication abilities along with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
  • Relationship-building skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly desirable: understanding or experience in disability-related fields.
