Job Title: Review and Compliance Officer

About the Role:

The APS 5 Internal Review Officer will work with a Federal Government client based in Parramatta/Charlestown. The position is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with participants to gather information regarding review requests and inform them about decisions, reviews, and the appeals process.
  • Make informed decisions based on legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents.
  • Manage caseloads to ensure internal reviews are completed within set timeframes.
  • Contribute to quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery practice, processes, and systems.

Requirements:

This is a team membership position requiring leadership skills, including setting priorities and allocating work to other team members.

The APS 5 Internal Review Officer will be accountable for undertaking moderately complex to complex work guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents.
