As a Senior Retail Underwriter, you'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough underwriting assessments to ensure accurate risk evaluations
  • Maintaining high levels of productivity and quality while meeting individual targets
  • Participating in phone queue management and tele-underwriting protocols to drive efficiency
  • Building strong relationships with advisers and clients to promote a culture of quality information extraction
  • Supporting the achievement of Retail Insurance ANP, Vo NB, and retention targets

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Extensive underwriting experience, ideally with a Level 8 Delegated Underwriting Authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate best practice in underwriting
  • Sound medical and financial knowledge, with a focus on customer service
