Overview
We are seeking an experienced Executive Support Officer to provide high-level executive support, project management, and strategic governance to our organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing proactive executive support to senior leaders, including the management of complex correspondence, preparation of high-quality documentation, and provision of daily direction to an executive assistant.
The role also involves undertaking internal reporting, drafting and editing complex documents, and providing secretariat support to committees and working groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-level executive support to senior leaders, including the management of complex correspondence and preparation of high-quality documentation.
- Supervising and providing daily direction to an executive assistant, including guidance on managing priorities and undertaking annual work planning and performance management.
- Undertaking internal reporting to various stakeholders, including the preparation of complex reports and presentations.
- Drafting and editing complex documents, including business cases and proposals.
- Providing secretariat support to committees and working groups, including preparing agendas, collating meeting papers, and taking minutes of meetings.
Requirements:
- A highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong record of achievement in providing executive support, strategic project management, and governance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to draft complex correspondence and reports with precision and clarity.
- Strong strategic planning skills and a capacity for systematic and analytical thinking.
- Ability to develop understanding of organisational cultural protocols and engage with staff in a respectful and collegiate manner.
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time position based at our office location. The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the development of our organisation.
