High Voltage Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role
We specialise in high voltage infrastructure works, testing, maintenance, and commissioning. Our team provides a rapid response 24-hour service for breakdowns.
Responsibilities
- Perform all works safely, effectively, and productively.
- Conduct work in accordance with Project Specific Risk Management Plans.
- Report unsafe practices, safety hazards, injuries, and incidents to your Supervisor immediately.
- Complete Inspection & Testing Procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date paperwork and be computer literate.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
- Develop ongoing skills and maintain Electrical licencing requirements.
- Conduct isolations according to our mandatory 4-stage procedure.
- Ensure electrical work is conducted in accordance with Arc Flash Clothing requirements.
Requirements
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of High Voltage testing throughout the employee engagement process.
- HV switching experience.
- Extensive experience in transformer, switchboard, ring main unit, circuit breaker, substation/industrial control system, and power factor correction equipment maintenance.
- Current NSW Electrical License.
- A self-motivated approach with ability to work unsupervised.
- CPR and LV Rescue Certificate.
- Construction Industry General Safety Induction.
- Valid Drivers Licence.
- Good communication skills - interpersonal and organisational.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Contribution to achieving desired outcomes and positive work culture.
