**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced Security Team Leader to lead and guide a small to medium size team. This role is designed for a security career professional who leads by example and will be provided the opportunity to work autonomously

As a Security Team Leader you will interact with the client, scholars, students, and members of the public in a highly visible role providing professional information services whilst ensuring the safety and security of people and assets.
As the primary liaison point you will be responsible for leading a professional team of Security Rovers to deliver accurate and timely response to all enquiries, incidents and developing operational efficiencies to improve performance.

**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Supporting, directing, and co-ordinating small to medium sized teams, including managing incidents and emergencies to achieve the best possible outcomes
- Preparing shift operational briefs and briefing staff
- Foot Patrols of the campus to observe, report and manage incidents
- Delivering excellent service performance standards at the campus, whilst developing operational efficiencies and improve performance
- Work within client & ACESGroup WH&S guidelines
- Observe facilities to reduce risk and maintain public safety
- Prepare general security records and reports
- Manage and provide facility access control.

**Skills and experience**:

- Security License (NSW 1A), minimum 3years* (*or equivalent)
- Experience supervising a small to medium size team
- Customer service experience (demonstrated customer centric approach)
- Demonstrated CCTV operational experience including using a range of technical systems
- Ability to work 24/7 rotating roster
- Customer service experience
- Superior communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Exceptional personal presentation
- Reliability and punctuality
- Unrestricted NSW Driver Licence
- First Aid and CPR (current)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) (current or willing to obtain)
- White Card (or willing to obtain)
- Fire Warden (or willing to obtain)
- Working With Children Check.
