Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Management Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting audio visual equipment and staff using the equipment.

The successful applicant will provide expert advice for all audio-visual within the Command Centre and assist in the remediation of any issues regarding audio and visual within the Command Centre, Media Hub, Landing Zone, Secure Room and Rapid Response Room.

The role will also be responsible for ensuring that audio and visual devices are operational prior to meetings within the above-mentioned rooms, communicating with other audio-visual specialists to request assistance when required, and assisting in the smooth running of the Command Centre.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice for all audio-visual within the Command Centre
  • Assist in the remediation of any issues regarding audio and visual within the Command Centre, Media Hub, Landing Zone, Secure Room and Rapid Response Room
  • Ensure that audio and visual devices are operational prior to meetings within the above-mentioned rooms
  • Communicate with other audio-visual specialists to request assistance when required
  • Assist in the smooth running of the Command Centre

Working Arrangements: Applicants will perform the role in Canberra, this is an onsite role.

Requirements
  1. Technical skills in the use of audio visual equipment, including Microsoft Teams Rooms
  2. Experience in supporting audio visual equipment and staff using the equipment
  3. Demonstrated computer literacy, in particular with corporate systems and multimedia technologies
  4. Proven ability to act with discretion and integrity in managing sensitive and confidential information
  5. Demonstrated experience in the provision of administrative support to programs
  6. Proven ability to communicate effectively whilst responding to stakeholder needs and expectations across a geographically dispersed network
