Job Description

This is a 9-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be based in ACT, Australia.

The role requires an Australian citizen holding a Baseline Clearance to provide support for audio-visual equipment within the Command Centre and other related areas.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all audio-visual devices are operational prior to meetings and providing technical assistance to staff as required.

Additional duties may include administering SharePoint logbooks, rearranging rooms for meetings or increased staffing, and performing other tasks as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on audio-visual matters within the Command Centre.
  • Assist in the remediation of any issues regarding audio and visual within designated areas.
  • Ensure that audio and visual devices are operational prior to meetings.
  • Communicate with other audio-visual specialists to request assistance when required.
  • Support the smooth running of the Command Centre.
  • Administer the SharePoint logbook on the Command Centre SharePoint page.
  • Rearrange rooms as required for meetings or increased staffing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Technical skills in the use of audio visual equipment, including Microsoft Teams Rooms.
  • Experience in supporting audio visual equipment and staff using the equipment.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy, particularly with corporate systems and multimedia technologies.
  • Proven ability to act with discretion and integrity in managing sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience in providing administrative support to programs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively while responding to stakeholder needs and expectations across a geographically dispersed network.
