Job Summary:

Eden Ritchie Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Infrastructure Services Officer, Maintenance and Improvement Specialist to play a leading role in managing the rollout of school maintenance plans and analyzing information in the plans to develop strategies for the improvement of maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for investment in maintenance by analyzing data from the Asset Life Cycle Assessment process and school maintenance plans.
  • Design and deliver training programs to facilitate the rollout of school maintenance plans, including the development of training manuals and guides.
  • Provide ongoing support for the rollout of school maintenance plans, including monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating maintenance programs to identify and drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and sustain productive working relationships, including regional infrastructure teams, schools, and service delivery partners.
  • Provide strategic advice to internal stakeholders on maintenance programs and processes, including the development of strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Drive quality, timely, and value-for-money outcomes through effective relationship management with service delivery partners.
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on the progress of maintenance programs, including ministerial, parliamentary, and corporate correspondence.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to team members to support their professional development and contribute to a positive team culture.

Requirements:

While prior industry experience in public service or working with infrastructure is beneficial, it is not mandatory. However, additional experience in program management and strategic planning is advantageous.
