About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Planner to join our team at Integran Infrastructure Management. As an Infrastructure Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing infrastructure planning frameworks and strategies that support our growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Infrastructure Plans: Create and implement infrastructure plans and strategies aligned with organisational goals, ensuring compliance with various Australian state legislative frameworks.
  • Collate and Document Critical Inputs: Gather, map, and document critical inputs to the land use and infrastructure planning process.
  • Run Models and Conduct Feasibility Studies: Run models in Excel, GIS, and our own Outvye software to determine key financial outcomes, including capital planning, and conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for new infrastructure projects and programs.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with specialist engineering consultants, economists, lawyers, and clients to ensure project requirements, including commerciality and compliance, are met.
  • Monitor Project Progress: Track project progress and performance, providing regular updates and recommendations to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Prepare Financial Models and Budgets: Develop long-term financial models and budgets, and timelines for infrastructure projects and programs, ensuring adherence to state-specific financial and regulatory standards.
  • Provide Specialist Advice: Offer expert advice to clients on trunk infrastructure conditioning, charging, offsetting, and refunds matters, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Negotiate Infrastructure Agreements: Negotiate Infrastructure Agreements between the public and private sectors to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of urban infrastructure to meet growth needs in both metropolitan and regional settings.
  • Analyse and Address Infrastructure Challenges: Analyse and address infrastructure-related challenges, proposing solutions that meet legislative and operational requirements.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in infrastructure planning and project management within Queensland or New South Wales legislative frameworks.
  • Skills: Competent knowledge of infrastructure systems, including transportation, utilities, water cycle, and community/open space, excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS software, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and planning tools.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills.
