Merchandise Planning Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating weekly store/product allocations based on sales trend performance, customer requirements, and internal warehouse constraints. They will also develop and implement inventory purchasing plans based on future sales forecasts.
- Create store/product level allocations weekly based on sales trend performance, customer OTB requirements, and internal warehouse constraints.
- Develop and implement warehouse inventory purchasing plans based on future sales forecasts.
- Consistently review product sales and stock performance, recommending actions to capitalize on opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve critical financial targets including sales, stock turn, sell through, and margin.
- Analyze aged inventories and recommend financially viable solutions to ensure the health of inventory holdings.
- Establish strong relationships with customers to create a solid business partnership.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in merchandise planning in a retail or wholesale environment.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Excel-based allocations.
- Prior experience in a retail or FCMG store level role is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in allocation management is highly desirable.
