Medical Reception and Administration Support Role

The role of Medical Reception and Administration Support is the first point of contact for headspace Frankston and Rosebud. The successful candidate will provide frontline advice and support to young people and their families/carers seeking information, resources and help.

Key Responsibilities
  • Frontline reception duties at each centre site
  • Administration tasks for day-to-day running of the sites as delegated
  • Facilitate and initiate responsiveness in regards to initial contact, screening, warm referral and clinical escalation processes for young people within scope of practice
Requirements
  • Administration qualifications and/or experience in a similar administration role
  • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team including the requirement to maintain privacy and confidentiality
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, alongside the ability to quickly acquire knowledge about additional computer programs
  • Ability to contribute to process improvement
  • Ability to maintain a professional attitude in all communication with stakeholders i.e. phone, email and face to face
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills
