Job Description:

The Position:
We are seeking a seasoned Health Safety Environment (HSE) professional to lead the implementation of HSE policies and procedures across multiple sites. This role will provide hands-on support, coaching, and leadership to operational teams while influencing regional strategy.

  • Drive the development and continuous improvement of HSE standards and procedures.
  • Lead incident investigations and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Partner with regional leaders to deliver strategic HSE outcomes that align with business priorities.
  • Coach frontline leaders to embed a proactive safety culture and drive accountability.
  • Oversee HSE training, audits, and compliance assessments.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage health, injury management, and return-to-work programs.
  • Represent the organization with regulatory bodies, industry forums, and community stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a senior HSE role, preferably in high-risk industries.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 systems.
  • Proven success in influencing HSE culture and driving performance improvement.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Accreditation in Rehabilitation and Return-to-Work Coordination.
  • Relevant security clearance or ability to obtain.
