Job Description:
  • Role Summary:
  • The Project Director will oversee the execution of large or complex construction projects, ensuring timely completion, financial stability, and adherence to contract requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops project safety plans with corporate safety teams, providing on-site leadership and guidance
  • Establishes project controls and procedures to manage complexities, mitigating high-risk items and addressing deviations in project vitals
  • Manages project financial forecasts, notices, and billings to meet contractual obligations; takes corrective actions to address issues
  • Creates and implements project-specific quality plans aligned with owner contracts and documents
  • Develops closeout plans in alignment with contract documents and assists with their execution
  • Provides leadership in motivating project teams, maintaining a positive work environment, and supervising direct reports
  • Develops subcontracting strategies, reviewing and writing scopes and deliverables to ensure integrity in buyout processes
  • Implements and enforces all aspects of contracts, creates risk mitigation plans, and prepares draft agreements
  • Assumes accountability for insurance enrollment and manages compliance with trade contractors
  • Leads the development of project estimates and manages estimating teams to meet contractual obligations
  • Leads constructability and coordination reviews, creating CPM schedules for complex projects
  • Collaborates closely with business development teams to integrate sales strategies and performance metrics
  • Responsible for career development and coaching of team members
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 8-12 years of experience
  • Experience in Health Care, Advanced Manufacturing Science and Technology, Life Science, K-12, Higher Education preferred
