A Senior Advisor in Public Interest Disclosures role at a Government agency. This position involves designing, developing and undertaking activities that support the office's oversight function under the Public Interest Disclosure Act.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice to public sector agencies on their responsibilities under the PID Act, including guidance on assessment and management of PIDs.
- Research and write information resources for diverse audiences about the PID Act.
- Develop and deliver training programs to promote compliance with the PID Act, including virtual training.
- Contribute to managing reported PIDs, including database administration and data analysis.
- Undertake review and research activities to support the PID oversight function.
You Will Be Expected To
- Model exemplary standards of personal integrity and ethics.
- Work collaboratively with team members, participate in meetings and training, and assist with policy improvements.
- Provide support and guidance for a culturally inclusive workplace.
- Adhere to the QO Code of Conduct, workplace health and safety legislation, and confidentiality policies.

- Undertake other duties as directed by senior officers.
