Liability Claims Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Service Consultant to join our National Liability Claims Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a complex portfolio of claims arising from Public and Products Liability products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of claims, prioritizing tasks and managing competing resources and demands.
- Ensure a high standard of service is maintained for internal and external customers, building a network of professional relationships.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, reporting on claim developments, trends, and potential large losses.
- Negotiate with panel solicitors, loss adjusters, and service providers to achieve the best possible outcome for all stakeholders.
- Previous experience in liability and/or injury-related insurance.
- Experience working in an insurance environment, with multiple policies desirable.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage tasks effectively.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with empathy and compassion.
