Your role at St John of God Health Care is to provide exceptional patient care and service as a Ward Host.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient meals and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring excellent compassionate service.
  • Collect patient meal trolleys from the ward, following infection control guidelines.
  • FOLLOW instructions and guidance from Nurse Unit Manager, adhering to ward protocols and policy.
  • Escalate priority issues with the Catering Manager and identify customers' needs through effective communication.
  • Provide feedback to the Catering Manager or Team Leaders on patient comments and suggestions for improving the meal dining experience.
Requirements
  • A basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and high standard of personal presentation and punctuality.
  • A customer focus and strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to listen.
