**Lead Regional Operations Manager Role**

This is a critical leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of rail haulage services across regional Northwest NSW.

The successful candidate will lead a team to achieve exceptional results, develop strategic plans to enhance safety, service performance, and efficiency, and build strong relationships with customers to support business strategy and growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and overseeing operational execution in one of Pacific National's largest and complex regions.
  • Designing and implementing regional operational strategies to improve safety, service performance, and efficiency.
  • Developing leadership capability and fostering a culture of collaboration across the business.
  • Driving key initiatives to improve resource utilisation, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven leadership experience in a complex operational environment.
  • A strategic thinker with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Experience in managing complex operations, ideally in freight or heavy industry.
  • Strong understanding of planned operations and service delivery.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and a high degree of initiative.
