Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Production Supervisor to lead our production activities. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with relevant statutes, and driving safe and effective production.

About the Role
  • Fulfill statutory requirements for an Open Cut Examiner, including regular inspections and comprehensive reporting;
  • Adhere to established company policies and procedures;
  • Develop and maintain a proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental standards, guaranteeing a secure working environment is maintained at all times;
  • Exemplify safe behaviors and provide visible leadership on safety protocols to team members;
  • Ensure risk management tools and relevant procedures are in place when planning and executing work;
  • Effectively utilize shift personnel and equipment resources to achieve mine plans and production targets;
  • Supervise all contractors operating in mining areas, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently;
  • Verify that all site personnel are trained and competent for assigned duties;
  • Identify training needs within teams and facilitate multi-skilled crews;
  • Present structured Pre-Start meetings with production crews;
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Liaise with Maintenance, Technical, and Support Services to deliver mine plans and achieve production targets according to production designs and schedules.
