Job Title: Business Development Manager

About the Role :

This is a key leadership position that offers variety, opportunities to showcase your people skills and innovative approach, and contribute to an organization with a meaningful community purpose. The full-time, fixed-term Business Development Manager position based in our office offers just that.

In this role, you will lead business development functions for District 27, developing and sustaining strong internal and external partnerships while providing expert advice and direction on key business functions. As part of the Leadership Team, you will contribute to strategic planning, manage complex tasks, and work closely with other Business Managers to drive consistent initiatives and processes across districts.

You will lead a team to deliver high-level customer support and corporate outcomes, building effective relationships across business units, partners, and stakeholders. This includes ensuring high-quality customer service, business continuity, and providing expert advice in line with legislation, policy, and procedures.

This is a leave coverage vacancy requiring full time commitment on a fixed term basis.

About You :

We are seeking a confident leader with strong skills in management, finance, and planning. Tertiary qualifications in business administration or management are desirable but not essential.

You will be a self-starter with excellent people skills, extensive experience in business administration or office management, and a background in managing services, resources, business plans, budgets, and risk.

Success in this role hinges on your proven ability to motivate, lead, and develop a high-performing team and foster a strong team culture.
