Job Overview

Greencross Vets is a leading veterinary service provider known for its commitment to exceptional patient care and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our Client Care team. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients and their pets receive the highest level of service during their visits.

About the Role

As a vital member of our team, you will report directly to the Client Care Manager. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a high volume of incoming calls
  • Communicating effectively with referring veterinarians
  • Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments
  • Processing invoices and handling payments, including cash and electronic transactions
  • Utilizing finance platforms for payment processing
  • Performing data entry and requesting necessary documentation from clients and veterinarians
  • Responding to email inquiries in a timely manner

About You

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role is required
  • Experience in a reception or high-volume call center setting is preferred
  • You excel in fast-paced environments and maintain composure during busy periods
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on accurate data entry
  • Familiarity with veterinary software is a plus, but training will be provided
  • Experience with appointment scheduling, invoicing, and payment processing
  • A proactive approach to assisting clients during peak times
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent time management skills, even amidst distractions
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A friendly and professional phone demeanor, capable of engaging with diverse clientele
  • Experience in handling challenging client interactions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
  • A collaborative spirit and enjoyment of teamwork
  • Ability to manage high call volumes and demanding situations
  • Flexibility to work during peak seasons and willingness to cover additional shifts as needed

Shift Requirements

This position requires availability for various shifts, including days, afternoons, and nights, throughout the week.
