We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director, Advancement to join our Advancement Office, International and Business Development, Chancellery Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Advancement Office, embedding sustainable development initiatives across the University's fundraising, alumni, and community outreach frameworks.
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to attract substantial philanthropic investment in the University.
  • Lead major donor stewardship, providing strategy advice and support for gifts across the University and to the University's Advancement Committee.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across the University to maximize engagement and support local and international donor relations.
Requirements
  • A combination of education (equivalent to a postgraduate degree) and substantial work experience in an area relevant to the position.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build, lead, motivate, and manage a diverse and effective team.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets at a senior level within a large and complex environment.
  • Advanced interpersonal negotiation and communications skills with the ability to develop and maintain networks of influential contacts.
  • Demonstrated high-level skills in strategic planning and project management with a record of effective leadership and delivery of positive outcomes.

  • Experience in the tertiary education sector, preferably in a role featuring development and/or community engagement activities.
