About the Role

Yourtown is a leading Australian organisation dedicated to supporting young people and their families. As a Non-Executive Director of Youth Services, you will play a critical role in shaping the organisation's strategic direction and ensuring its continued impact.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the organisation's youth services portfolio
* Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting young people and their families
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of young people
* Engage with stakeholders, including government, community, and corporate partners, to advance the organisation's mission and goals

Requirements

* Proven experience in a non-executive or executive leadership role, preferably in a community or youth-focused organisation
* Strong understanding of the needs and challenges facing young people and their families
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
* Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions that align with the organisation's values and mission
