About Our Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead and supervise the facilitation of student placements across the mental health sector.

As a key member of our team, you will provide innovative and inspiring teaching to Social Work students, explore new partnerships to build capacity for placements, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in teaching and learning at a tertiary level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify, develop and enact placement relationships
  • Working with agencies and service providers to identify challenges and design creative solutions for placement opportunities
  • Contributing to the planning, evaluation and student placement assessment of topics

Requirements:

  • Completed PhD or qualifications and equivalent professional experience in Social Work
  • Membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualifying experience in the mental health sector
