As a Water and Wastewater Planning Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering water supply and sewerage schemes for key water authorities in Queensland.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team working on water and wastewater infrastructure projects locally and across the APAC region.

  • You will undertake hydraulic modeling, planning studies, and feasibility assessments for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in water supply and wastewater infrastructure planning projects involving growth assessments, options analysis, strategic, and master planning is highly desirable.
  • Supporting activities include demand and loading development and projections, whole-of-life costs analysis, and multi-criteria analysis.
  • You will use water and wastewater modeling products like Bentley WaterGEMS and Autodesk/Innovyze InfoWorks WS Pro and InfoWorks ICM SE Software.
  • Utilizing GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and QGIS Software.
  • Providing technical input to water and wastewater engineering projects to meet project needs and client expectations.
  • Producing technical outputs that conform to project scope through report writing, presentation development, and communication skills.
  • Assisting the team in developing and expanding the Company's capability in water and wastewater planning.

  • Undertaking site visits and inspections to assess existing infrastructure and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conducting research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Developing and implementing water conservation strategies to reduce water waste and promote sustainable practices.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and challenges associated with water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
