Job Opportunity

This is a leadership role within the Perioperative Departments, responsible for the day to day management of the team.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership capabilities in previous management experience and expert knowledge of the perioperative environment.

They will be responsible for providing optimal leadership and management, assuming responsibility and accountability for the standard of clinical care delivered and the operational performance of the Theatres.

  • Manage existing workforce and project forward to build a cohesive efficient perioperative team environment.
  • Maintaining collaborative leadership with all stakeholders and key reporting lines.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Tertiary qualification in management/business or other appropriate discipline desirable.
  • Expertise and/or qualification in Perioperative nursing.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Strong customer service principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
