Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that quality standards and functions are maintained, overseeing quality control of raw materials through to finished product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing quality and food safety inspections within the production facility, including CCP and QCP check activities.
  • Monitoring and inspection within manufacturing areas to verify compliance with GMP, including GMP internal auditing and post-cleaning start-up checks.
  • Identifying and escalating food safety and quality issues.
  • Exercising good communication and consultation practices daily within the QA team, and with other teams as required, including correct reporting, collection, and compiling of facts.
  • Ensuring all food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are met with the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Maintaining line hygiene standards and performing changeovers/line clearance in accordance with QA standards.
  • Reporting and corrective action on hold and non-conforming finished products/work-in-progress and raw materials.
  • Frequent liaison with production staff and management to address all quality issues and implement preventative actions.
  • Supporting and engaging in any training activity related to GMP, QC checks.
  • Product quality assessment (in-process, finished product, and retention samples).
