About the Role

The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide advanced practice nursing care, using evidence-based practices to inform decision making.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor less experienced clinicians to achieve quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist nursing care at an advanced practice level, utilizing best practice evidence to inform clinical decision making.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Mentor and supervise less experienced clinicians to enhance their skills and confidence.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications in Renal Nursing, with a minimum of three years' experience working in the clinical specialty.
  • Demonstrated competencies in complex care delivery, including leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
